2 15-ounce cans Cannellini beans, drained
3 cloves garlic
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 overflow tablespoons tahini paste
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil plus extra to drizzle on top
pinch or two of In The Kitchen With Scotty “Cook’s Line Seasoning”
- In a food processor or blender, add the drained Cannellini beans along with the garlic, lemon juice, and tahini paste. Puree to a paste.
- Add the “Little Bit More” blackening spice and process again to combine. With the processor blender running, slowly (and using all safety precautions ) pour in the olive oil. Puree the hummus until smooth.
- Taste for seasoning and add Cook’s Line Seasoning if needed (or basic salt and black pepper).
- Pour into serving bowl, and drizzle the top with olive oil. Serve with warm pita or lavash bread, fresh veggies, or just a spoon. Enjoy!
